Tickets will be available for the first 75 registrants. Cost to attend the event will be $5 + a $1.26 ticket fee and will cover light appetizers and snacks. Drinks will be available at the bar for an additional cost. Water will be available at no charge.

Parking downtown is free after 6pm. Best place to park will be on/around Railroad Ave. **Glow is on the 2nd floor. There is an elevator, so if you need to use it to get upstairs, please let us know

We are privileged to have Dave Olson, Community Director for HootSuite, as our guest speaker for the May meetup. Dave will be speaking about using Hootsuite's popular social media dashboard to spread messages, monitor conversations and track what's working by sharing real world anecdotes from the marketing trenches. Along with sharing expert tips for using HootSuite on web and mobile, he'll discuss best practices and tactics for launching and managing communication campaigns for business and organizations by strategically utilizing social networks.

About Dave:

Dave Olson grew up in Vancouver, traveled and worked in over 20 countries, launched a DSL IP In Washington State and earned a BA at Evergreen State College in Olympia. He currently works for HootSuite, which allows organizations to use social web tools to schedule and publish messages to multiple social networks, monitor results and efficiently participate in conversations. Since Dec. 2008, HootSuite has earned awards from Open Web, CNMA, and Shortys and users include The White House, Martha Stewart Ominmedia, SXSW and Zappos. Glow Nightclub, owned by Pete Wasley, is the club that occupies the glassed-in, 4,500 square foot space at 202 East Holly St., just above Bob's Burgers.
